These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of protocolracing.com and the PR0TOCOL app (the "Service"), operated by GOCLOUD GLOBAL SDN BHD. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. Your account

• You must provide accurate information and keep your login details secure. One account per person.
• You are responsible for activity on your account. We may suspend accounts that breach these Terms.
• You can sign in with email and password, Google or Apple. If you forget your password you can reset it by email from the sign-in screen.

2. Race listings and joining

• The Service lists running and endurance events organised by PR0TOCOL and by third-party organisers. Third-party events are listed by name for information; we are not the organiser of third-party events and are not responsible for their conduct, entry terms, or changes. Official registration for third-party events happens with the organiser.
• Tapping "Join" on a race records your intention on your PR0TOCOL profile. It is not an entry with the organiser unless stated otherwise.

3. Results and verification

• Submitted results must be your own and supported by genuine proof (for example an official e-certificate). Submitting falsified results is a breach of these Terms and may lead to removal of results and suspension.
• We may verify, adjust, or reject submitted results at our discretion, including with the help of automated checks. Verified results, your name, member number and rankings may be displayed publicly.
• PAI and other scores are calculated under rules we publish and may be updated between seasons.

4. PR0TOCOL events, entries and payments

• Entries to PR0TOCOL-organised events are personal and subject to the event's own rules, published on the event page.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. Unless stated otherwise on the event page, entries are non-refundable; transfers may be allowed up to a stated cut-off.
• You take part in physical events at your own risk and confirm you are medically fit to participate. Follow crew instructions at all times.

5. Community features

• Other members can find your public profile unless you turn it off in Settings. Use what you see about other members only for the purpose of the Service.
• Running Clinics are organised by clubs. Signing up shows your name and member number to the clinic leader. Take part at your own risk and follow the leader’s instructions.

6. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the Service: no fraudulent results, no impersonation, no scraping or interfering with the platform, no uploading unlawful or infringing content.

7. Content and intellectual property

The PR0TOCOL name, logo, design and PAI system are our intellectual property. By uploading content (such as a proof image) you grant us the licence needed to operate the Service. Third-party race names belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only.

8. Service availability

The Service is provided "as is". We work to keep it available and accurate but do not guarantee uninterrupted service, and we may change or discontinue features.

9. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GOCLOUD GLOBAL SDN BHD is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Malaysian law.

10. Termination and account deletion

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time in the app (Settings → Delete account). What is deleted and what is kept is explained in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts for breach of these Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia.
